In response to the growing domestic demand for brine shrimp eggs and the limited availability of domestic brine shrimp resources, the company took the lead in expanding internationally by establishing China’s first brine shrimp egg raw-material harvesting and processing base on the Aral Sea in Uzbekistan, and by forming an international joint venture, Guoji Shunyuan, with a local enterprise.
The establishment of the company has secured a new source of raw materials for domestic brine shrimp egg processing enterprises, stabilized market prices for its products, and opened up new supply channels, thereby positioning the company as a pioneer in connecting China’s fisheries sector with Central Asia under the Belt and Road Initiative.

In addition, we have been honored as a “Consumer-Satisfied Unit of Binzhou City.”

The company relocated to Bincheng District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, and was renamed Shandong Binzhou Tongyuan Aquatic Products Co., Ltd., marking the beginning of a new journey of innovative development.

To expand into international markets, the company has leveraged its superior product quality and professional after-sales service to establish close trade partnerships with aquaculture seed companies in Thailand’s CP Group, Belgium, Vietnam, and other countries, thereby securing its first significant overseas revenue. In that year, the company ranked first nationwide in export sales of brine shrimp eggs and earned widespread recognition in the global market.

Year 2000

The product has entered the international high-end market and established a long-term cooperative relationship with Thailand’s CP (Charoen Pokphand).

1998

To address the reliance on natural brine shrimp eggs harvested from local saltworks, the company established the first demonstration farm for brine shrimp cultivation in the Bohai Bay Saltworks, using the salt-pan brine-production area as its platform. This initiative has opened up a new, artificial-brine-shrimp-cultivation approach for producing high-quality, high-yield dormant eggs, thereby spearheading and catalyzing the emergence and development of the local brine shrimp farming and egg-processing industries.

Wudi County Tongyuan Aquatic Products Co., Ltd. has been officially established and the “Tongzhiyuan” brand has been registered, marking a new beginning for the company in the aquaculture industry.
