Uzbekistan Shunyuan Joint Venture Co., Ltd.

　　As a pioneer in exploring the Belt and Road Initiative, Tongyuan ventured overseas in 2011, investing US$30 million to establish Shunyuan International Joint Venture Co., Ltd. in Uzbekistan through the Binzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce. The company undertakes a project for the development of brine shrimp egg resources in the Aral Sea region, encompassing the cultivation, harvesting, processing, and export of brine shrimp eggs. Shunyuan International Joint Venture Co., Ltd. has grown into one of the largest local enterprises engaged in the brine shrimp egg business, with an annual harvesting capacity exceeding 500 metric tons. The company currently employs more than 200 people, including over 170 local Uzbek nationals and more than 20 Chinese technical and managerial personnel. Over the years, the company has steadfastly adhered to the business philosophy of “scientific innovation and quality first,” effectively controlling product quality at the source, thereby laying a solid foundation for downstream processing and contributing to the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
