Product Introduction

Bohai Bay Artemia cysts are rich in protein, fat and high unsaturated fatty acids (about 65% of protein, about 20% of fat and about 15mg>G of high unsaturated fatty acids). After hatching, the nauplius of the artemia cysts is orange in color and rich in yelk. They can enhance the resistance, increase the vitality and improve the seedling survival rate of shrimp and fish; therefore, they are active baits very suitable for fish and shrimp breeding.

Hatching Conditions

Aeration:

Add strong continuous aeration to the bottom of hatching container through airstones .

Egg Density:

Use no more than 3 gram/liter.

Temperature:

Salt water solution should be maintained 28-30°C.

Salinity:

Preferably use 20 PPT.

Light :

Keep tank illuminated with natural or fluorescent light while artemia are hatching.

PH should be maintained > PH 8, if PH drops below 7.5 ,sodium bicarbonate should be added into the water to increase the PH to 8.

Hatching Time :

Brine Shrimp Nauplii should be harvested within 24 hours .

Collecting Nauplii :

Stop aeration and cover the top of the hatching container from light ,wait for 10-15 minutes. Most nauplii will sink to the conical bottom of the container while empty shells will float to the water surface during this period of time . Collect nauplii from the bottom drainage.

Storage Conditions :

It is better to use up one time or seal it , store in a cool & dry place below 4°C .
