Product Introduction

Bohai Bay Artemia cysts are rich in protein, fat and high unsaturated fatty acids (about 65% of protein, about 20% of fat and about 15mg>G of high unsaturated fatty acids). After hatching, the nauplius of the artemia cysts is orange in color and rich in yelk. They can enhance the resistance, increase the vitality and improve the seedling survival rate of shrimp and fish; therefore, they are active baits very suitable for fish and shrimp breeding.

Storage

Please avoid direct sunlight. For short-term storage, please store in a cool and dry place. If you don't use the artemia cysts immediately, please keep the container closed to prevent the products from getting damp. After opening the container, please use it within a few days. For long-term storage, please store them in cold storage conditions below 0 ℃, and the storage time can be up to 24 months. If you take out artemia cysts under refrigeration, please leave them outside for 12 hours before hatching.

Hatching Conditions

1. Aeration:Add strong continuous aeration to the bottom of hatching container through airstones .
2. Egg Density:Use no more than 3 gram/liter.
3. Temperature:Salt water solution should be maintained 28-30°C.
4. Salinity:Preferably use 20 PPT.
5. Light :Keep tank illuminated with natural or fluorescent light while artemia are hatching.
6. PH:PH should be maintained > PH 8, if PH drops below 7.5 ,sodium bicarbonate should be added into the water to increase the PH to 8.
7. Hatching  Time :Brine Shrimp Nauplii should be harvested within 24 hours .
